Calvin Chin's Martial Arts Academy awarded Community Grant from Parkinson's Foundation
We are very excited to announce that after applying for a Community Grant from the Parkinson’s Foundation we were awarded a grant! The study being funded is titled An innovative Tai Chi teaching methodology, “Tai Chi Paradigm”, for Individuals with Parkinson’s. Through support from the Parkinson’s Foundation, the Tai Chi Paradigm class will be free for participants with Parkinson’s! This 14 month study will include three classes a week on location at our school 66 Winchester Street Newtonhighlands, MA 02461 ( exclusive to study participants) with further instruction and support by use of our comprehensive online streaming program. Participants will also have access to an online forum where they can ask questions and offer their input in a nurturing, community setting.
