2001 HUNG GAR TEACHING TOUR

"In sponsoring this tour, my goal is to offer the opportunity to learn from an esteemed member of the Lam family to all Hung Gar practitioners, along with my students who have chosen this arduous path.....I assure you that you will be thrilled to have been part of this experience, whether you are here to meet the guest of honor, take seminars, or to witness the poetry in motion that is the signature of the Lam family"

Some comments from participants:

"This is the culmination of all the years I have spent in the Hung Gar system."

"Being able to learn from the Grandmaster has to be one of the highest points in my training."

"Thank you for bringing the Grandmaster here. I am so glad for the opportunity."

"I have new zeal and will practice harder."

"I hope this is not going to be a once in a lifetime event, but if it is, I'm glad I was part of it."

"Being corrected by the Sibakgung makes it mine to keep."

Grandmaster
Lam Chun Fai

He was born into one of the most elite kung fu families. At the age of five, Lam Chun Fai started his training in Shaolin Hung Gar Tiger Crane under the guidance of one of the most prominent Hung Gar practitioners, his father, Lam Cho. An orphan, his uncle, Lam Sai Wing raised Lam Cho as his only son and principal disciple.

The entire teaching tour was a success and a great privilege for all who took part in this momentous event. As a grand finale to the tour, seminar participants and members of Calvin Chin's Martial Arts Academy were treated to a electrifying performance by the Grandmaster at an Open House hosted by Calvin Chin's Martial Arts Academy in Newton.
